Buzz Marketing Inc. is a full-service marketing firm providing advertising, promotions, public relations, branding and social media strategies to any business or event. We help clients achieve their goals by creating name or brand recognition within their target market. By building and sustaining relationships with the media (print, radio, television, billboards, Internet, etc.), Buzz Marketing, and their clients, remain top of mind and will experience increased awareness among target audiences. Buzz Marketing believes in building a solid foundation with each client. We get to know your business and work on your behalf to make sure everyone else knows it too. We take great pride in our personal relationships with our clients as well as our relationships with the media. After all, that’s what business is all about, relationships! We want our clients to feel comfortable giving ideas, making suggestions or asking questions. This is how we grow as a team and build that foundation for a long-standing relationship. We make each client feel as if they are our only client!

Buzz Marketing was the inspiration and creation of Leslie Sonnenklar. After realizing that the simplicity of marketing comes down to “creating the buzz” with regards to a product or service, In September of 2001 Buzz Marketing was born. Sonnenklar has extensive knowledge in marketing and public relations with services ranging from media relations, creating and implementing marketing and public relations plans and writing ad copy to negotiating with third parties to develop promotional opportunities and ad placement.
Prior to Buzz Marketing’s initiation, Sonnenklar served as marketing coordinator for Houston’s major arena, The Compaq Center, and then director of marketing for the World’s First Domed Stadium, The Astrodome, and its sister facilities, the Astroarena and Astrohall. In these positions, she was responsible for the marketing and public relations campaigns for a variety of clients and events including WWE, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Disney On Ice, Sesame Street Live and many more, as well as representing the facilities and its services. After her time at the Astrodome and facilities she moved back to Phoenix, Arizona and spearheaded the creation of the marketing department for a graphic design and marketing firm in Mesa, Arizona called Element Design + Communications. At Element Design + Communications, she concentrated on PR campaigns for a variety of corporate clients and played a strategic role in the collaboration of the design and marketing departments.
community involvement
Buzz Marketing is actively involved in the community helping organizations such as Gabriel’s Angels, HomeBase Youth Services and March of Dimes while also serving on the Board of Directors for Gabriel’s Angels. We are members of many community minded organizations including Women of Scottsdale, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Local First Arizona and we participate in a variety of other organizations and events.
